PESHAWAR: A young Pashto actress suffered burn injuries in an acid attack in northwest province of Pakistan Khyber Pakhtun Khwa on Saturday, The 18-year-old Bushra also known as (shazia aziz) had been worked television and theatre’s plays was attacked while asleep at her home in the town of Nowshera, Bushra told that
“A man climbed the wall of our house in the mid night, threw acid on me and fled”
Teen actress immediately taken to Lady Reading Hospital in Peshawar where hospital ‘sources say that she had suffered 33 percent burn injuries, on her face and shoulder, but was in a stable condition.
Bushra‘s brother lodged a complaint against a local TV drama producer, Shaukat Khan, He alleged in the report that the producer wanted to marry his sister and upon the refusal by Bushra to marry Shaukat, the TV producer threw acid on her.
Now bushra was shifted to Khyber Teaching Hospital’s burn unit
